- Born and brought up in a family that was active in community development and involved in various cultural, social and economic activities for the upliftment of aspiring sectors of society.
Joined State Bank of India as a probationary officer in the year 1980 and Indian Administration Services in the year 1987.
Served in many responsible positions in various departments of the Government of Karnataka and superannuated in the year Oct 2018.
Served as Principal Secretary to Chief Ministers of Karnataka.
In every department, the work, projects, policies and programmes initiated were recognized and conferred with several awards for exceptional performance.
Currently, holding charge as the Director at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar School of Economics, Bengaluru.
